Planning Permission - Planning control is the process of managing the development of land and buildings. The purposes of this process are to save what is best of our heritage and improve the infrastructure upon which we depend for a civilised existence.

Permitted Development - Permitted Development Rights are changes and additions you can make to your home without applying to your local authority for planning permission.

Green Design - Architectural Services specialise in cost saving specifications that save money on the build cost, reduction in contract times and also help to save the environment with less landfill and materials used.

How else can we help? - Most build projects require building regulations and structural calculations. Our in house team can produce these and manage the approval process.
Building Regulation Applications & Submissions - Building regulations make sure that the design and construction of a building is safe.
Structural Sections and Elevations - The submission of the building regulations will also include a structural cross-section which enables building control to check the build design is structurally sound.
Structural Calculations - Nearly all jobs will require structural calculations. The calculations are used to determine the size of beams or steels for openings in walls, and size of timbers for roof and floor joists.
Roof and Foundation Design - The roof design will need to be approved by your local planning authority. Before drawing commences we will evaluate your foundation options and advise you on your options.
